Summer II: The World’s Oldest, Tallest, Biggest Trees / Paintings in the Style of Hudson River Artists

Grades 1-7, Ages 6-14, 9 am – 2:30 pm, 5 days

We will study trees, and why people love them. We will learn how to paint in the style of the Hudson River Artists, then write poems and stories about trees. Includes a trip to the Thomas Cole House (Catskills, NY). On the last day we will present our projects to parents and friends. The cost is $120, which includes morning & afternoon snacks (students bring their own lunch). Registration is limited to 22 students. (Delaware Academy students, full scholarships; full and partial scholarships for Delaware and Otsego County students).
