Tessa Yang is the author of the story collection The Runaway Restaurant (7.13 Books, 2022). Her short fiction has appeared in venues including The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, CRAFT, and The Cincinnati Review, and her flash fiction was recently selected for Best Small Fictions 2024. Sofia Escobar is a senior at Hartwick College double majoring in Creative Writing and Philosophy with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. Her work has been published in Auburn University’s The Auburn Circle, Sigma Tau Delta’s Rectangle, Hartwick College’s Word of Mouth, Rising Phoenix Review, Outrageous Fortune, WordybyNature, and The Academy of American Poets. She is the recipient of the Eleanor B. North poetry award from Sigma Tau Delta in 2023 and has won the Anna Sonder Prize for Poetry for three consecutive years, from 2022–2024. After college, she hopes to pursue an MFA in Creative Writing.
