DESCRIPTION

Poetry. OTHER PEOPLE’S STORIES is a collection of poems in which the author describes telling moments in the lives of famous people and family members. The cast of characters ranges from American Civil Rights Heroes to well-known artists to characters who live only in the imagination and others notorious for being less than heroic.

AUTHOR BIO

Barbara Elovic has published poems in more than one hundred journals, including Poetry, Sonora Review, and Marlboro Review. Additionally, her work is included in anthologies published by Scribners, Dell, Milkweed Editions, Columbia University Press, and Bright Hill Press. She’s been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and was a fellow at the Millay Colony for the Arts. She ran one of the first poetry series in Brooklyn in the 1990s. She still lives in Brooklyn, NY, and after years in the trade publishing industry, she now works as a Pilates instructor.
